For r.s. we study sexual ethics. This is interesting but as my teacher has explained that they will teach it to us at the end of the year as its not so hard to understand and environmental ethics is harder and will take up more time… ¬_¬ this is code for its embarrassing to teach so we’ll leave til the last minute! So i have been reading it this week on my own so i don’t have to rely on a man who blushes at the penis etc.
My annoyed feminist-esc irratated at men thought was when i read auginstines thoughts on sex: sex inside marriage is okay as long as you don’t enjoy it. of course the inside marriage bit is to do with children etc. But for women to get pregnant in the first place the man has to enjoy/reach climax or there would be no sperm and no baby. so really this last line should be ‘sex inside marriage is okay as long as she doesn’t enjoy it’ or ‘sex inside marriage is okay as long as you hate her and she hates you’ maybe it was just a way to hide behind religion if you weren’t good in bed.
why are you not a feminist?

and they’re going to teach you about sexual ethics? oh god..this should be interesting…they’ll probably teach you a load of shit. you go to the most annoying school in the world…maybe.
i didn’t really want to describe myself as a feminist as i know little about feminism and what it means to be a feminist.
Thats why im teaching myself lol the school will edge around subjects that are considered taboo. As we have to learn about the ethics of people who have sex with animals and siblings but i reckon they’ll just skip that bit and i think its important to learn and debate these things.
